CrossPurpose/ Uprise

CrossPurpose equips unemployed or underemployed adults to become self-sufficient through job training and personal development. In one year, program graduates will be earning $15/hour or more in the career of their choice.

 

UpRise is a 6-month career and community development program for adults in Denver who are ready to start a new career path, improve their financial situation, and become self-sufficient.

Providence Bible Church

Providence Bible Church is an evangelical Christian church in Northeast Denver whose mission is to exalt the name of Jesus Christ in the city by loving him and sharing his love with all people.


Cherry Hills Community Church

Cherry Hills Community Church collaborates with urban ministries to serve local communities through youth and adult education, mentoring, community development, and discipleship programs.

Activate Workforce Solutions is a people-centered recruiting firm in the entry-to-middle skill labor market. Activate helps Denver-area businesses discover, retain, and develop motivated and loyal talent in hard-to-fill and high-turnover jobs.


Purple Door Coffee

Purple Door Coffee is a specialty espresso bar and coffee roaster in Denver, Colorado that employs teens and young adults who have been homeless and want to leave homelessness behind.

Dry Bones Denver

In the context of relationships, practicing the way of Jesus, Dry Bones Denver meets spiritual and physical needs of homeless and street-connected youth and young adults. Dry Bones Denver seeks to equip and inspire all involved to relieve suffering, facilitate reconciliation, and free the heart to love.

Open Door Tea Shop

We embrace community, quality tea and simplicity. At Open Door Tea Shop, we employ reintegrating adults from prison. Artwork sold in the facility is created by inmates and reintegrating adults. All proceeds will go to the families and children left behind due to incarceration. Part of the proceeds will also be given to the inmates to continue to create art in prison. 


Women's Bean Project

Women’s Bean Project believes all women have the power to transform their lives through employment. They hire women who are chronically unemployed and we teach them to work by making nourishing products that we sell across the US through some of the country’s largest retailers. Through their work at Women’s Bean Project, the women learn to stand tall, find their purpose and break the cycle of poverty. Because when you change a woman’s life, you change her family’s life.

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless

The Coalition is a national leader in providing integrated housing, health care, vocational and supportive services, creating lasting solutions to homelessness.

Family Promise of Greater Denver

Family Promise partners with diverse congregations to provide shelter, meals, and hospitality to families experiencing homelessness within the Denver-metro area. These congregations partner to support their mission to help families experiencing homelessness by providing emergency shelter, meals and supportive services on the path to self-sufficiency.


St. Francis Center

St. Francis Center’s programs and services are tailored toward adult women and men, and focus on daytime shelter, social services, health and wellness, housing, employment, and outreach. At SFC, guests have the opportunity work with a variety of specialists, depending on their individual needs, which is often the first step toward transformation and ultimately self-sufficiency.
